The Challenge

Caliber Real Estate was founded at the end of 2013 in an executive center with leased technology, and then moved to a large new office in Bellevue, WA. Due to the speed and timing of the move, very little lead time was available to Audian to plan and assist with with the Telephony solutions, but quickly was called in for a comprehensive IT set of solutions including server installation, Active directory planning, Domain install, Group Policy configuration and workstation setup. Caliber Real Estate contains a set of several diverse companies that needed a complex and customized phone tree to handle inbound lead calling as well as normal business routing.

The Solution

Telephony

Audian implemented a cloud based PBX system that allowed for expansion without on premise hardware, thereby reducing cost significantly. Existing hardware and phones were leveraged, eliminating the need to purchase all new hardware.

IT Backbone

Audian implemented a Samba4 file server installed on whitebox hardware, thus saving the licensing costs of Windows software. GPO’s and Active Directory were configured to allow very quick configuration of workstation computers.

• Extensive phone tree consultation was provided and a very detailed phone tree was configured to meet every request of the client. A professional voice over talent was contracted by Audian to record the voice prompts, and then added and tested with the system.
• Office 365 was used to route the voicemail over email to groups of employees so as not to miss any important calls.
• Cost was reduced significantly over a traditional on premise system as offices did not require any hardware. The client was able to save thousands by reusing Cisco phones that were configured and worked perfectly.
• Existing phone numbers were ported over seamlessly so that no interruption in service was experienced.
